Working exclusively with the finest natural fibres, Marissa creates distinctive knitted accessories from her own Pembrokeshire alpaca, UK-spun merino and carefully sourced industry surplus yarns.

Marissa’s cowl necks are crafted from a luxurious blend of natural fibres sourced from industry urplus, including soft lambswool merino, often combined with cashmere and sometimes her own yarn made from Pembrokeshire Alpaca.
They can be easily placed over the head and are designed to be the pop of colour for your winter jumper or coat.
Marissa’a neckerchiefs are crafted from a soft blend of natural fibres, predominantly merino lambswool, and feature playful pops of colour. Each piece is made on Marissa’s vintage hand powered knitting machine, giving it a unique artisanal quality. Versatile and easy to war, they can be slipped over the head thanks to their natural stretch or fastened through the small loop at the neck. Perfect as a thoughful gift or a special treat for yourself.
This is a comfortable unisex cowl neck which can easily be placed over the head.
Each one is unique and made from a combination of merino lambswool and luxury industry surplus fibres.

Basics of Machine Knitting – Group Weekend
6th - 7th February 2027
Saturday 10:00am – 4:30pm
Sunday 10:00am – 1:00pm
Perfect for beginners and those wanting a refresher, this two-day workshop provides a solid foundation in machine knitting.
You’ll learn:
• How a knitting machine works and what it can do
• Casting on and casting off
• Knitting stripes
• Increasing and decreasing
• Creating textures, patterns and hems using manual techniques
• Troubleshooting common machine knitting problems
You’ll produce a variety of samples to take home, giving you confidence to continue your knitting journey.
£175 per person (includes lunch on both days)
Advice on buying machines, sourcing yarn, accessories and spare parts is included.

For those who prefer a personalised approach, Marissa offers tailored one-to-one sessions. Whether you’re new to machine knitting or need help with a specific technique, the lesson will be designed entirely around your needs.
You’re welcome to bring your own machine, although all materials and equipment are provided.

Join Marissa for a special weekend workshop creating the signature Gladys Cardi from the archive collection of Dr Amy Twigger Holroyd.
You’ll learn:
• Basic machine knitting techniques
• How to use a punch card
• Seamless joining techniques
• Finishing and sewing up your garment
By the end of the weekend, you’ll have your very own cardigan ready to wear.
